Robert E. Baensch
Robert E. Baensch is president of Baensch International and an international publisher of professional, scientific, technical and medical information. He has served in senior executive positions at Rizzoli International, Macmillan and Harper & Row, as director of publishing at the American Institute of Physics, and as CEO of Springer Verlag, New York.
Mary K. Baumann
Mary K. Baumann, a partner in the design firm Hopkins/Baumann, is art director of Kids Discover magazine and was formerly on the magazine development team at Time Inc., art director of Geo and associate art director of Life. She redesigned People, Money and Claudia magazine in Brazil.
Keith T. Clinkscales
Keith T. Clinkscales is senior vice president/general manager of ESPN Publishing. As the former chairman and CEO of Vanguarde Media, he published Savoy, Honey and Heart & Soul magazines. Prior to founding VMI, he was the first African-American named as a president at Time, Inc., where he published Vibe magazine.
Caroline Herter
Caroline Herter founded Herter Studio after serving as Publishing Director of Chronicle Books, where she oversaw the strategic direction of the company's publishing program and developed its distribution, gift, and custom publishing divisions. She has also served as VP/director of illustrated book publishing at Simon and Schuster and VP/Director of National Accounts for Scribners/Atheneum.
Dorothy Kalins
Dorothy Kalins of Dorothy Kalins Ink is former executive editor at Newsweek. Prior to this position, she was editor-in-chief of the award-winning magazines Garden Design and Saveur magazines which received a total of 17 National Magazine Award nominations under her leadership. She was also founding editor, vice president and editorial director of Metropolitan Home at Meredith Corporation.
Alan Rinzler
Alan Rinzler, executive editor at Jossey-Bass (Wiley), has been a book editor since 1962, first at Simon and Schuster, then at Macmillan and Holt, Rinehart and Winston. He was also VP/Associate Publisher of Rolling Stone magazine and president of Rolling Stone's book division; and director of trade publishing for Bantam Books. Along the way he has edited and published books by Toni Morrison, Hunter Thompson, Robert Ludlum, Tom Robbins, Jerzy Kosinski, Shirley MacLaine, Irv Yalom, and many others.
Paul Saffo
Paul Saffo, consulting associate professor in Stanford's School of Engineering, is a forecaster and strategist specializing in the long-term commercial impact of emerging technologies. He devotes much of his time to making sense of structural shifts occurring at the intersections of the computer, consumer electronics and communications industries.

Martin P. Levin
Martin P. Levin, former vice president of Times Mirror Company and president and CEO of Times Mirror Book Company, is counsel at Cowan Lebowitz and Latman. His areas of expertise are international co-ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and editorial rights and development. He has also served as chairman of the Association of American Publishers.
Richard B. Stolley
Richard B. Stolley, senior editorial adviser at Time Inc., has served 40-plus years in that organization as a reporter, bureau chief and assistant managing editor at the weekly Life magazine, managing editor of the monthly Life, founding managing editor of People and editorial director of Time, Inc. In 1996 he received the prestigious Henry Johnson Fisher Award from the Magazine Publishers of America.
